Benefits of Kelpak on Apples
Trials using Kelpak on apple orchards show improved yield as well as benefiting the farmer by providing an effective buffer against calcium leaf burn:
- Improved rooting of nursery trees
- Increased rooting and root mass
- Increased fruit size
- Increased yields
- Prevents leaf burn caused by calcium sprays
To reduce leaf burn : Apply at a 1:500 dilution in tank mix with calcium nitrate or calcium chloride sprays for bitterpit control.
Recommended application rate
Foliar application: Apply Kelpak at fruit set stage.
Repeat twice at 14 day intervals.
